The Malvern Bank West Series has added one event and removed another in an announcement resetting the remainder of the Nebraska-based tour’s season.

The makeup of a June 26 rainout at Cresco (Iowa) Speedway, originally a Malvern East-only event, was rescheduled for Aug. 28 as an East-West event. The weeknight event will also pay $5,000-to-win, $1,000 more than the original winner’s purse.

The Malvern West tour also cancelled Sept. 7’s scheduled event at Eagle (Neb.) Raceway. Tyler Perry Enterprises, which was promoting the event, told DirtonDirt the race was cancelled by the mutual decision of Perry and the series because sponsorship for the Late Model portion of the event was lacking.
