Veteran Pennsylvania racing photog dies

Rick Neff, a longtime dirt racing photographer who submitted images to Dirt Track Digest, DirtonDirt and other outlets, died Thursday at his home in Upper Tulpehocken Township, Pa. He was 69.
The U.S. Navy veteran and retired U.S. Postal Service mail handler was a familiar site in the infield of dirt tracks throughout much of the eastern half of the country shooting a variety of divisions including Dirt Late Models. Along with racing, he enjoyed bowling and roller skating and coached youth sports teams when his children were young. He loved the beach and was a member of Hamburg's Keystone Social Club, where he was in the bowling league.
