Revival adds Caney Valley's Memorial
The Nutrien Ag Solutions POWRi Revival Super Dirt Series has added Sept. 20’s Memorial event at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kan., to the tour’s schedule. The purse wasn’t announced.
Among other recent schedule changes for special and sanctioned events:
Selinsgrove: Aug. 31's Fall Clash event at Selinsgrove (Pa.) Speedway, the Paul Long Memorial, has been upgraded to $10,063-to-win (up from its original $6,300 winner's prize). The Limited Late Model division will also be in action with a $2,563-to-win purse.
Hidden Hollow: Sept. 12's Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series and Ultimate Heart of America Series event at Hidden Hollow Speedway in Colson, Ky., has been upgraded to $7,500-to-win; the original purse of the Coal Miners Classic was $5,000-to-win.
Tri-County: Facing a week with a rainy forecast, Friday’s Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series event at Tri-County Racetrack in Brasstown, N.C., was cancelled.
Ponderosa: Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Ky., restored a $5,000-to-win event for Friday. The twice-cancelled events for other tours will run unsanctioned under Jamie Stumph promotions. Ponderosa also added a Sept. 13 Burlile Ohio Valley Late Model Dirt Series event paying $3,000-to-win.
