Smoky Mountain inducting Bloomquist

The late Scott Bloomquist on Sept. 20 will become the 170th member into the Smoky Mountain Speedway Hall of Fame, the Maryville, Tenn., track announced.
Bloomquist will be inducted posthumously as the lone member of the Class of 2025 in a ceremony during there intermission of the Jail Breaker Topless Outlaw Series Hall of Fame 50 program. Bloomquist’s daughter Ariel and others will speak about the life and career of the legendary championship-winning driver from Mooresburg, Tenn.
Smoky Mountain’s Hall of Fame includes members East Tennessee Racing Hall of Fame, which originated at Atomic Speedway near Knoxville, Tenn.
