Sept. 18-21 rainouts, postponements
Among non-national touring Dirt Late Model special and sanctioned events rained out, postponed or cancelled the Sept. 18-21 weekend (among other changes); rescheduled date included unless no makeup date was immediately announced:
Willard: Oct. 4's Burlile Ohio Valley Late Model Dirt Series event at Willard (Ky.) Speedway has been removed the series schedule.
Springfield: Saturday's 4 State Dirt Late Model Series event at Springfield (Mo.) Raceway rained out.
Plymouth: The Wabam Dirt Kings Tour finale at the Plymouth (Wis.) Dirt Track rained out; the track originally announced an Oct. 4 makeup, but decided against it to avoid a conflict with another track.
Latrobe: Latrobe (Pa.) Speedway officials postponed Saturday's United Late Model Series event to Sept. 21 because of rain.
Peoria: Peoria (Ill.) Speedway postponed Saturday's MARS Championship Series Illinois State Championship to Sept. 27 because of rain; the event follows DIRTcar Super Late Model rules, but will no longer carry MARS Series sanction.
Caney Valley: Saturday's Nutrien Ag Solutions POWRi Revival Super Dirt Series event at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kan., was rained out and rescheduled for Oct. 18.
Red Cedar: This weekend's Punky Manor Challenge of Champions program at Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, Wis., rained out.
Lake Cumberland: Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Ky., cancelled Saturday's Super Late Model event, which was added six days earlier, because of an expected low car count.
Jamestown: After a wet week, the Stock Car Stampede at Jamestown (N.D.) Speedway has shifted to a Saturday-Sunday schedule instead of Friday-Saturday. Saturday’s prelims begin at 5 p.m. with Sunday’s features starting at noon.
