The Kubota Gateway Dirt Nationals have added a twist to the format for Dec. 4-5’s preliminaries with the newly instituted Hellraizer Jacks Pit Stop Challenge setting the starting lineups inside the The Dome at America's Center in St. Louis, Mo.

For Thursday and Friday’s $10,000-to-win preliminary features, the six heat race-winning teams will compete in a speed-based pit-crew competition in the infield of the fifth-mile oval to set the first three rows of the lineups.

Dirt Late Model racing’s only indoor event will be capped by Dec. 6’s finale that pays a race-record $75,000 to the winner.
