James Rattliff’s Campbellsville, Ky.-based JRR Motorsports announced today it is parting ways with driver Daulton Wilson of Fayetteville, N.C., marking the end of a successful four-year partnership.

The 28-year-old driver concluded his tenure with the team in Saturday’s 45th annual Dirt Track World Championship at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, where he finished 15th in the 100-lap main event and secured an eighth-place finish in the 2025 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series points standings.

“This was a very hard decision for everyone at JRR,” Rattliff said in a press release. “Daulton has always carried himself with professionalism and represented JRR Motorsports with class. I’ve enjoyed every minute of the past four years. We’ve made incredible memories together — many I’ll never forget. He’s a great driver, and more importantly, a great person. I wish him nothing but the best in 2026 and wherever his career takes him.”

Wilson’s time with JRR feature several career milestones, including his first-ever national touring series victory with the Lucas Oil Series in February 2024’s Wieland Winternationals finale at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Fla. It was his only win on the Lucas Oil circuit, but he captured three races overall this season highlighted by a career-best $50,000 victory in a 602 Late Model event at Fayetteville (N.C.) Motor Speedway.

“It’s definitely bittersweet,” said Wilson, whose Lucas Oil Series points finishes included a career-best seventh in 2023 and eighths in ’22 and ’24. “After four years on the road together these guys have become like family to me. I’m going to miss being part of this team, but I’m incredibly thankful to James and the entire Rattliff family for believing in me. We’ve shared some amazing moments and picked up some of the biggest wins of my career. I’ll always be grateful for everything they’ve done to support me.”

JRR Motorsports is expected to officially announce a new national driver today while continuing to field regional programs for Rattliff’s son, Justin, and Jason Jameson of Lawrenceburg, Ind. Wilson has made recent starts for Big Frog Motorsports but hasn’t cemented a full-time ride for 2026.
