Two first-time tracks on 30-race Hell Tour
Two first-time tracks and two track returning for the first time in 30 years are among 30 tracks set to host DIRTcar Summer Nationals in 2026 on the grueling nine-state series set to began June 9 at the Brownstown (Ill.) Bullring, the earliest start in tour history. | Schedule
While more than 20 tracks return from last year’s schedule, Dubuque (Iowa) Speedway and Camden (Tenn.) Speedway join the circuit for the first time, while West Liberty (Iowa) Raceway rejoins for the first time since 1994 and Windy Hollow Speedway near Owensboro, Ky., is back for the first time since ’95. Another track returning after a lengthy hiatus is Poplar Bluff (Mo.) Motorsports Park, last on the tour in 2007.
The richest events on Fridays and Saturdays, traditionally with $10,000-to-win purses, include long-running series tracks like Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Ill., Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway, Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway, I-55 Federated Raceway Park in Pevely, Mo., Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind., Highland (Ill.) Speedway and Oakshade Raceway in Wauseon, Ohio, among others.
Macon (Ill.) Speedway’s Herald & Review 100, traditionally a Thursday event, in 2026 will run on Sunday, July 5.
Illinois tracks host a series-high 13 events and are part of every week except the fifth, when Indiana, Michigan and Ohio tracks wrap up the series that ends July 12 at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio.
The series champion receives $10,000 while each week’s top driver in points receives $10,000 out of a $150,000 total points fund payout among top points earners. Drivers maintaining perfect attendance also receive $500 for every 500 miles traveled on the circuit that stretches over more than 5,500 miles. Every race streams live at DIRTVision.
Jason Feger of Bloomington, Ill., is the reigning and two-time champion. Series director Sam Driggers in 2026 will be inducted into the National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame.
