Coltman announces English's departure
Following their first full season together on the World of Outlaws Real American Late Model Series, Tanner English of Benton, Ky., and Coltman Farms Racing of Maysville, Ga., are parting ways, effectively immediately, the Brett Coltman-owned team announced today.
The team posted on social media that the 32-year-old English “has chosen not to relocate” the team’s No. 96 entry from his race shop in Benton, Ill., to Maysville where the two-car team will be based from beginning in 2026.
“Coltman Farms Racing wishes Tanner the best in the future,” the Coltman team said in a statement. “We are grateful for the success we shared together.”
Since joining Coltman Farms Racing full-time last April 19 in the WoO-sanctioned Alabama Gang 100 weekend at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala., tallied six victories with the team in 124 feature starts, including five paydays $10,000 or more.
English delivered Coltman Farms Racing’s first national touring victory in WoO action Aug. 13 at Highland (Ill.) Speedway amid a season he finished ninth in the tour’s standings where he produced seven top-fives and 14 top-10s in 42 starts.
The Coltman team, which on Nov. 28 hired Dawsonville, Ga.’s Donald McIntosh to replace driver Zack Mitchell, hasn’t confirmed plans for its second car ahead of the 2026 season. Attempts to immediately reach English were unsuccessful.
