Daulton Wilson of Fayetteville, N.C., will drive full-time for Big Frog-Viper Motorsports in 2026, the team announced today during the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show in Indianapolis.

The 28-year-old racer joined Augie Burttram’s Ocala, Fla.-based team in September on a part-time basis while finishing off his four-year stint with James Rattliff’s JRR Motorsports on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. He made nine starts with Big Frog-Viper highlighted by a third-place finish in Sept. 6’s Ultimate Southeast event at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Ga.

A social media post revealing Wilson’s 2026 plans said the team is assembling a full stable of Longhorn Chassis machines in preparation for a season debut during Jan. 22-24’s World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series-sanctioned Sunshine Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla. Marketing partnerships and support agreements for the 2026 program are in their final stages and will soon be completed, allowing for the official unveiling of the 2026 car design.

A detailed 2026 schedule and series intentions will be announced later.

Wilson finished eighth in the 2025 Lucas Oil Series points standings while failing to win a feature on the tour. Big Frog-Viper ran a limited schedule of Super and Crate Late Model events before linking up with Wilson, including a summer Schaeffer’s Souther Nationals assault with Jimmy Owens of Newport, Tenn.
