Farmington (Mo.) Empire Speedway has been added to next season's DIRTcar Summer Nationals schedule for July 1, filling a schedule void in the tour’s fourth week. Series officials today confirmed the midweek race will pay $5,000-to-win with the tour returning to the track for the first time since 1990-91 visits.

This news comes nearly two weeks after Harrisburg Ark.’s Old No. 1 Speedway was added for June 30 with those dates giving the series 27 consecutive schedule nights of action, a series record provided there are no rainouts or cancellations.

The midseason series launches June 9 at the Brownstown (Ill.) Bullring and concludes July 12 at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio.
