Big Frog, Wilson plan WoO run
Daulton Wilson of Fayetteville, N.C., has officially committed to the World of Outlaws Late Model Series for 2026 in his new ride with the Florida-based Big Frog-Viper Motorsports, the team announced this afternoon.
In the expected move, the 28-year-old Wilson will follow the WoO circuit beginning next week at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla., embarking on his fifth national touring season. He ran four years on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for Kentucky-based JRR Motorsports.
Wilson won a single race on the Lucas Oil circuit with a career-best finish of seventh in series points in 2023. He finished eighth the other three seasons.
Augie Burttram’s Big Frog team has fielded cars for several drivers in national and regional touring events, but it marks the team’s first national tour bid.
