Ultimate SE sets wide-ranging schedule
Announcing the widest-ranging schedule in its 16-year-history, the Ultimate Southeast Super Late Model Series includes 13 first-time tour tracks on a 23-race schedule among 16 total tracks in eight states.
The Bill Lupinos-owned, Dewayne Keith-directed tour will have its busiest schedule in nine years, barring rainouts, and make its first appearances in Mississippi and Florida as well as return to West Virginia for the first time since 2013 and Alabama for the first time since 2016. | Schedule
“My goal hiring Dewayne Keith as series director was to expand the Ultimate Southeast out of the traditional area,” Lupinos said. “He did a tremendous job and exactly that. We are excited for the upcoming season.”
Highlights include a series-high three races at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Ga., and four events at first-time series track Blackwater Speedway in Baker, Fla., which concludes the season with $4,000- and $10,000-to-win events on Oct. 2-3.
Other first-time series tracks are set for Alabama (Buckshot Speedway, West Alabama Speedway, Hollis Speedway and Penton Raceway), North Carolina (Morganton’s HorsePower Park), Mississippi (Greenville Speedway), West Virginia (Princeton Speedway), Tennessee (Summertown’s Thunderhill Raceway), Virginia (Ararat Bullring and Bassett’s reopening Oak Level Raceway) and Georgia (Hartwell Speedway and Winder-Barrow Speedway).
The season opener is scheduled for March 14 at Buckshot Speedway followed by a March 20-21 doubleheader at Blackwater Speedway. The series champion receives $10,000. Visit ultimateraceseries.com for more information.
