Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals Series officials announced tonight that the weekend’s season-opening Peach State doubleheader has been cancelled because of heavily saturated grounds.

With more rain expected this week, Friday’s $7,553-to-win season opener at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway and Saturday’s $10,053-to-win second round at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway have both rained out and are expected to be rescheduled, though no makeup dates were immediately announced.

Pending the rescheduling, the Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals is slated to kick off its 2026 season March 20 with a $10,053-to-win event at Modoc (S.C.) Speedway, the first major Super Late Model event there in nearly five years.
