Saturday’s Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series event at North Georgia Speedway was rained out and rescheduled for March 12.

The makeup event at the Chatsworth, Ga., oval gets a purse boost of $7,000-to-win, up from the originally planned $5,000 payday. The rare Thursday event precedes World of Outlaws Late Model Series weekend action at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn., and Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn.

Along with SAS competition, five other divisions are in action, including separate classes for 604 and 602 Crate Late Models.
