A soggy week and forecasts for more wet weather cancelled Thursday-Saturday events on the MARS Championship Series in Iowa. The events at Tipton’s Cedar County Raceway and West Burlington’s 34 Raceway won’t be rescheduled.

Among other Dirt Late Model special and sanctioned events rained out, postponed or cancelled from this weekend (among other changes); rescheduled date included unless no makeup date was immediately announced:

Topless Outlaws: Saturday’s Topless Outlaw Series event at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Ala., was rescheduled for Aug. 22.

DIRTcar Tri-State: Saturday’s series opener at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colo., rained out.

Red Clay: The Red Clay Series has added a $2,000-to-win race Aug. 24 at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth.
