Sargent co-promoting Peoria event
Longtime DIRTcar Summer Nationals race promoter Track Enterprises will co-promote June 11’s series event at Peoria (Ill.) Speedway, the tour announced today.
The quarter-mile oval owned by Brandon Dean has hosted 25 events on the grueling tour that launches next month with Peoria as the third stop.
“We are excited to work with Brandon Dean and his staff on this event,” said Bob Sargent, president of Track Enterprises. “The Summer Nationals fields have been strong the last couple of seasons and we can’t wait to see what this year has in store. Peoria Speedway has a tremendous history and we’re looking forward to helping bring another exciting Summer Nationals event to the fans.”
The tour opens June 9 at the Brownstown (Ill.) Bullring and wins through 10 states to its July 12 conclusion at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio, with a single night night off on July 6.
Sargent and Track Enterprises also promote the June 21 series event at Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway.
