Bert Transmissions by Budda has posted a $5,000 front-row challenge for June 10’s Kentucky Speedweek Dirt Late Model event at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Ky., the track announced.

Any driver scheduled to start on the front row can elect to accept a last-row starting spot. If the challenge-accepting driver wins the $5,000-to-win event, the victory will pay $10,000.

Ponderosa’s event is the second of five consecutive nights of six-division Kentucky Speedweek action that includes Super Late Models and Crate Late Models.

Thunder Mountain Speedway in Corbin, Ky., opens the week June 9 followed by Ponderosa’s June 10 event. Rockcastle Speedway in Mount Vernon, Ky., hosts June 11’s event followed by June 12-13 stops at Richmond (Ky.) Raceway and Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Ky.

Super Late Model events pay $5,000-to-win with a $10,000 point fund offering $5,000 to the champion.
