WoO fines Zarin for Stateline misbehavior
The World of Outlaws Late Model Series has fined Logan Zarin Racing and placed both Zarin's team and Brent Larson Motorsports on probation for the remainder of the 2026 season following a postrace incident after July 8's event at Stateline Speedway in Busti, N.Y.
Zarin Racing was assessed a $500 fine, with the money to be donated to Racing with Jesus Ministries.
The penalties were issued under the section of the World Racing Group rulebook that calls for punishment for those who drive race cars or other vehicles “in a dangerous and aggressive manner.”
The series didn’t specify details, but the incident apparently occurred as the drivers, in their cars, and team members, aboard pit vehicles, were heading back to their haulers following the Stateline feature, according to observers.
Zarin told DirtonDirt via text message the incident stemmed from an "off track incident with my guys and them."
Larson, also responding via text message, said, "None of my crew was involved with ANYTHING. No further comment."
