Key notes: Cooper, who started on the pole by virtue of a six-car inversion from time trials, was making his second start for Stanley McCarter Racing. ... Fast qualifier Cody Overton was the runner-up. ... Royce Bray of Hull, Ga., finished fourth and went on to win the night's Limited Late Model feature (Overton started on the pole of that race but was involved in a first-lap crash with Drew Benfield.
