ORRVILLE, Ohio (July 16) — Updates and results from the 23rd and final round of the DIRTcar Summer Nationals at Wayne County Speedway, an event highlighted by a $5,000-to-win feature for Super Late Models (results unofficial):

Second-starting Kyle Moore of Mansfield, Ohio, traded sliders and crossover moves with Ashton Winger for several laps after the halfway mark, then fended off Winger on a late-race restart to lead all 40 laps at Wayne County Speedway, winning Sunday's $5,000 DIRTcar Summer Nationals feature. Moore scored his first career Summer Nationals victory, beating Winger to the line by 1.483 seconds. An emotional Moore, who lost his mother earlier in the year and dedicated the win to her, becomes the sixth first-time tour winner this season, joining Stormy Scott, Logan Martin, Mike Harrison and Dylan Thompson. Fourth-starting Winger, of Hampton, Ga., settled for the runner-up position, but officially clinched the 2023 Summer Nationals championship along with adding the $10,000 Week 5 points bonus.
