Dylan Yoder (24) pocketed $3,000 for his Hagerstown victory.
What won the race: Dylan Yoder of Middleburg, Pa., worked around his cousin Andrew Yoder on lap 11 and led the remaining nine laps of Sunday's second and final Frank Sagi Tribute Race at Hagerstown (Md.) Speedway for the $3,500 winner's share. Kyle Lee of Mercersburg, Pa., finished second, 2.168 seconds behind.
Key notes: Andrew Yoder of Middleburg, Pa., earned the pole of the second 20-lap, $3,500-to-win feature after the finish from the first feature, along with a six-car invert, set the lineup for the final feature of the night. Yoder led the opening 11 laps before finishing third. ... Drivers who didn't start the second semifeature: Bryan Bernheisel, Danny Dietrich, Trever Feathers, Coleby Frye, Keith Jackson, Gregg Satterlee, and Mason Zeigler. ... First semifeature winner Kyle Hardy of Stephens City, Va., started sixth and finished fourth. ... The second feature went caution free and lasted seven minutes whereas the first feature spanned 34 minutes and featured five stoppages. ... Traditionally a one-race show paying $5,000-to-win, this year’s Frank Sagi Tribute split into twin 20-lap, $3,500-to-win features. ... The unsanctioned Super Late Model event honored the late Frank Sagi, the longtime track announcer of 39 years at the historic half-mile. He died April 24, 2012, at the age of 78.
