What won the race: Outside front-row starter Dave Hess of Waterford, Pa., led all the way for a $10,000 victory Tuesday in Stateline Speedway's Battle at the Border 40. Hess took the checkers ahead of Mike Knight and Chub Frank in front of Stateline's biggest crowd of the season.
Key notes: Hess notched his third Super Late Model victory of the season at Stateline. ... Fast qualifier Mike Knight improved two positions and finished runner-up. ...
