What won the race: Mike Palasini Jr. of Leland, Miss., controlled all 40 laps from the pole in winning Saturday's $3,000 Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series main event at Jackson Motor Speedway. Palasini beat Neil Baggett by 2.424 seconds for his ninth career MSCCS victory and second this season.
