What won the race: Inheriting control after early leader Austin Mintz retired on lap 14, polesitter and older brother Justin Mintz of Hopkins, S.C., led the rest of Saturday's 35-lap Vern Geddings Memorial Turkey Day Race at Sumter Speedway. The elder Mintz beat Adam Yarbrough to the line by 2.551 seconds for the $3,000 payday, his first Cagle Automotive Blue Ridge Outlaw Late Model Series victory of the season and second of his career.
Key notes: Justin Mintz's last Blue Ridge victory was April 27, 2024, worth $5,000 at Halifax County Motor Speedway in Brinkleyville, N.C. ...
