Kennie Compton Jr. picked up his second trophy of the weekend.
What won the race: In a battle of front-row starters, Kennie Compton Jr. of Bland, Va., outgunned Eddie Hambrick of Beckley, W.Va., and led all 40 laps of Sunday's Triple Crown finale at Princeton Speedway. Compton earned $2,000 for his second Fastrak Racing Series victory of the weekend.
Key notes: Compton was not challenged down the stretch en route to becoming the tour's first repeat winner of 2015. ... Ron Parker and Chris Meadows pressured Hambrick for second, but neither could overtake the runner-up. ... The race's initial start was called back. ... The next yellow flew on lap two for an incident involving Eric Bennett and Tyler Bare. Bennett also drew a caution on the ensuing restart. … Another lap-two caution waved for a multi-car tangle in turn two. … Matthew Nance spun to draw a lap-15 caution. … Shane Greco drew a caution on lap 27 with a flat tire. ... Compton previously won Friday at Beckley Motor Speedway, while Parker won Saturday at Wythe Raceway. ... In total, more than $40,000 in purse money was up for grabs during the 10th annual Triple Crown weekend.
Points chase: Parker was crowned the Triple Crown points champion. Walker Arthur of Forest, Va., leads the tour's overall standings.
Polesitter: Eddie Hambrick
Next series race: June 6, Toccoa Raceway (Toccoa, GA) $2,000
