What won the race: Andrew Reaume of Blenheim, Ontario, overtook track champion Dale Glassford on the 25th of 35 laps Saturday at South Buxton Raceway to capture the Canadian Fall Shootout for an unprecedented fourth time. The tail-starting Reaume earned $3,000 in taking the checkers ahead of Jason Haskell and Glassford, who won 14 of 16 regular-season features entering the weekend.

Quotable: “I really wanted to win this badly,” said Reaume, making his first appearance in the Late Models at his home track this season. “I know Glassford was doing the majority of the winning and I wanted to have a good race with him. ... And Jason was running real well, I was impressed.”

Key notes: Reaume previously won Shootouts in 2009, '10 and '12. ... He started on the tail because he didn't take the green in his heat race. ...
