Dylan Yoder heads to a $5,000 victory at Clinton County.
What won the race: The sixth of six leaders after starting in the sixth row, Dylan Yoder of Selinsgrove, Pa., picked up the largest Late Model payday in the history of Clinton County Motor Speedway by surviving a battle through lapped traffic with eventual third-place finisher Coleby Frye. Yoder's cousin Andrew was third and his father Jim was fifth.
Quotable: “I was pretty good on the bottom of the track early in the race, but everyone else was running there, so I figured I might as well try the top of the track and luckily it worked. Coleby got caught up in lapped traffic, and I had a pretty good car and could maneuver around, and if I did not mess up I knew we would be alright. My cousin Andrew was up there also, and was running good so it was fun to race him also," Yoder said. "We have won some big races this year, but it is pretty good to win one here, this is an awesome race track."
Key notes: Yoder has seven victories overall in 2016. ... Clinton County Motor Speedway hosted the richest Super Late Model event in its 28-year history. ... Jeremy Miller led early in the event. ... Runner-up finisher Andrew Yoder is the track's Limited Late Model points leader, and he collected a $100 bonus for being the highest finishing driver in a Limited Late Model. ... Drivers failing to make the feature lineup: Mike Blose, Shawn Claar, Jamin Chapman, John Myers, Dave Riddell and Cody Robbins.
On the move: Yoder earned hard charger honors for his 12th-to-first run.
Winner's sponsors: Yoder's No. 24 MasterSbilt Race Car has a Miller Racing Engine and sponsorship from MBH, S&R Repair, Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic, Edelbrock and Comp Cams.
Points chase: Andrew Yoder currently leads the track's Limited Late Model points.
Car count: 31
