Tanner English gets up to speed before his MARS East triumph
What won the race: Tanner English of Benton, Ky., won his series-leading seventh MARS East victory of the season with a $1,500 win at Clarksville Speedway. English outran his father Terry English and Rodney Melvin.
Key notes: Tanner English leads the series with five wins, including the last two races. … Events at Clayhill Speedway in Atwood, Tenn., and Camden (Tenn.) Speedway originally scheduled for this weekend have been reset for next week, with Clayhill running Friday and Camden Saturday. … The series has five more races planned for Clarksville.
