What won the race: Leading all 50 laps, Second-starting Coleby Frye of Dover, Pa., topped fifth-starting Matt Cosner of Ridgely, W.Va., to collect an $8,100 payday in the Billy Winn Classic at Bedford Speedway.

It race was originally scheduled for July 14 but rained out. … The race is dedicated to the memory of Billy Winn, a 2003 inductee of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and one of the top dirt racers of the 1930s. He won the first auto race at Bedford on Sept. 5, 1936, and competed eight times at the Indianapolis 500.
