Russ King, show in Friday's prelims, won Saturday's main event.
What won the race: Russ King of Bristolville, Ohio, added to his successful September Sweep weekend at Eriez Speedway with a $3,011 Crate Late Model victory on Saturday night. His first Crate triumph at Eriez came a night after he scored $4,011 ULMS-sanctioned win in his Super Late Model to open the two-day program.
Key notes: King won by 10 lengths over runner-up Jason Genco, who led the first 17 laps. ... Chad Schauers hit the turn-four wall on the third lap. ... Wyatt Scott spun in turn two on an early restart. ... Hunter Hulley spun on the ninth lap. ... Matthew Siipes spun on lap 15 and Chad Clement spun on the restart, collecting five others. ... Robert Mitcham spun in on lap 18. ... The weekend's purses had $11 added to the total as a nod to late track owner Bob Rohrer, who died this summer after a battle with cancer.
Winner's sponsors: King's Rocket Chassis is sponsored by King's Sanitary Service, University Hospitals, Argos, RKR Compound and Integra Shocks.
Points chase: Mike Knight has 1,247 points to lead the track’s weekly Crate Late Model standings over Jason Genco (1,207 points) and Kyle Zimmerman (1,163).
Car count: 28
Polesitter: Erin Peters
