What won the race: Michael Kloos of Trenton, Ill., won his second Midwest Big 10 Series event of the season, becoming the tour's first repeat winner this year. Kloos earned $1,200 in outrunning Matt Bailey and Greg Kimmons, who shares the 2017 series title with Kloos.
Key notes: Kloos gained 24 points on Greg Kimmons for a tie in the final points standings. ... The series also had co-champions in 2014 with Ryan Little and Brian Diveley. ... The series banquet is scheduled for Oct. 29.
