What won the race: Inheriting the lead when frontunners tangled with 12 laps remaining, surprise entrant Justin Kay of Wheatland, Iowa, grabbed his first Malvern Bank Super Late Model Series at Off Road Speedway. Kay, who started sixth, earned $2,000 Saturday in a race where Kyle Berck led the first 18 laps but spun after contact with hometown driver Tad Pospisil in a battle for lead.

Key notes: Kay snapped Bill Leighton Jr.'s three-race winning streak in series action at Off Road Speedway; he's the 26th different winner in series history. ...
