What won the race: Bouncing back after being shuffled back to seventh early in the race, Max Blair of Centerville, Pa., took the lead from Mike Maresca on lap 16 and went on to claim his seventh ULMS victory of the season. Blair earned $2,500 for Friday’s win at Freedom Motorsports Park. Maresca finished second, with Greg Oakes third.
Quotable: “I got hit going into the corner (on lap three) and got shoved up the race track and then we got hit real hard coming off the corner and made me fall back, but it’s all part of racing,” said Blair. “It was a little hairy there, for awhile, but it all worked out. We got back by those guys and we’re sitting here. It’s awesome. This year has just been unbelievable”

Blair has won five of the last six series races. … The victory was Blair's 16th career Zimmer's ULMS win; tying him on the all-time win list with his father Rob Blair. ... Blair picked up an extra $300 for fast time. ... The series returns Aug. 10 and Sept. 15.
