Shannon Babb celebrates his ALMS victory at Farmer City.
What won the race: Diving under race-long leader Billy Moyer on the final lap, Shannon Babb of Moweaqua, Ill., claimed a $5,000 Sunoco American Late Model Series victory Friday at Farmer City Raceway.
Quotable: "It was just a helluva good race," winner Shannon Babb said. "(Moyer) is a blast to race with and Manville's doing a good job. This is a different car than we usually run here, and it wasn't quite dialed in, but it ended up getting us to victory lane. Hopefully we put on a good race for the fans. I'm tickled to death my mom, my granny, my wife and my new baby (were on hand)."
