What won the race: Rallying from the eighth row, Rusty Schlenk of McClure, Ohio picked up a $2,000 victory in Saturday night's 30-lap Sunoco American Late Model Series event at Oakshade Raceway.
Key notes: Schlenk registered his third ALMS triumph of 2018 and the 27th of his career on the regional tour. ... Schlenk has a track-leading five 2018 victories in the Late Model division. ... Schlenk had to start near the back after spinning in his heat race while battling Ryan Missler; he won the consolation. ... Track points leader Devin Shiels advanced eight positions for a runner-up finish. ... Polesitter Brian Ruhlman slipped back to a sixth-place finish. ...
