Ricky Weeks won his fourth September race on the Blue Ridge tour.
What won the race: Outside front-row starter Ricky Weeks of Rutherfordton, N.C., overtook polesitter Dustin Mitchell on the sixth lap and raced to his 12th Blue Ridge Outlaw victory of the season Saturday at Friendship Motor Speedway. Weeks won the 25-lapper over Mitchell and Kyle Pierce.
Quotable: "This is the best field I've raced against all year, the best of the best here tonight, and we was good enough to outrun 'em," Weeks said in victory lane. "That'll make you happy."
Key notes: Weeks won by a 0.347-second margin over Mitchell. ... A dozen drivers completed 25 laps. ... Justin Hudspeth, Reggie Primus and Bryson Harper didn't start the feature.
