What won the race: Completing a weekend sweep on the Alpha Art Thunder Series, Dustin Morris of Landrum, S.C., earned a $1,200 victory at Laurens County Speedway. Morris took the lead from reigning series champ Dale Timms on the seventh lap and led the rest of the 25-lapper.
Key notes: Morris won his third series race of the season. ... He won the previous night's event at Tri-County Racetrack in Brasstown, N.C. ... The night's other winners were Larry Timms (604 Crates) and Tony Quarles (Limited Late Models).
