PHENIX CITY, Ala. — Leading every lap from the pole, Mark Whitener of Middleburg, Fla., topped Jimmy Thomas of Phenix City, Ala., to win Sunday’s 40-lap Crate Late Model feature at East Alabama Motor Speedway. Whitener finished .868 seconds ahead of the runner-up in winning $3,000.
Logan Roberson of Waynesboro, Va., finished third, while 13th-starting Ahnna Parkhurst of Evans, Ga., finished fourth. Rodgerick Dykes of Smith Station, Ala., completed the top five.
