What won the race: Donald McIntosh of Dawsonville, Ga., led all 40 laps Thursday at Tri-County Racetrack for a $4,000 Schaeffer's Spring Nationals victory. McIntosh took the checkers 2.688 seconds ahead of series points leader Dale McDowell while Casey Roberts was third.

Quotable: “We made the right call on changes and everything. We had a really good car," McIntosh said. "Any time you can outrun Dale (McDowell), you’ve done something. The track was pretty good tonight. It had a top and a bottom. I wasn’t so good in the bottom and around the lapped cars I was a little scared.”

Key notes: The victory was McIntosh's first Schaeffer's Spring Nationals victory of the season and his fourth career series victory. ...
