What won the race: Winning his second Southwest Dirt Racing Association event of the year and the seventh of his career, Craig Parker of Waddell, Ariz., led all 20 laps for a $700 winner's check in the Ernie Mincy Tribute at Central Arizona Speedway. Parker won by 3.750 seconds at the checkers.
Key notes: Parker's previous SWDRA triumph came April 20 at Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, Ariz. ... Bud Grossenbacher took second John Cornell on the sixth lap and held the position the rest of the distance. ... Six cars completed 20 laps and seven were running at the finish. ...
