Key notes: Stephens’s Greenville triumph matched his April 2017 Mississippi State Championship Challenge victory at the 1/4-mile oval. … Greenville’s Ryan Colby was leading on a restart with three laps remaining, but was penalized for jumping the start and sent to the tail of the field. The fifth-starting Colby, who has two wins at his home track this season, finished ninth. ... Polesitter Jamie Elam of of Senatobia, Miss., who won Wednesday’s tour stop at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark., finished 22nd. … Matt Cooper of McKenzie, Tenn., who has won three of the seven series races this season, slipped from seventh to finish 18th. … Greenville hosted the second night of the All Star Racing Series’ three-race swing through Arkansas and Mississippi during the Independence Day holiday weekend. … The series returns to Greenville July 27.
