What won the race: From his outside front row starting position, John Ownbey of Cleveland, Tenn., drove to a $2,000 Topless Outlaw Series victory Friday at Crossville Speedway, finishing 2.081 seconds ahead of red-hot Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, Tenn., in the 40-lap event for Limited Late Models.
Key notes: Leading every lap, Ownbey became the third winner in as many 2020 series races. … Ten of the 17 starters completed 40 laps. … The series returns to Crossville on Sept. 4. ... Zach Sise won the Crate Late Model feature.
