What won the race: Polesitter Delbert Smith of Wichita, Kan., raced to a $750 National Championship Racing Association victory at Salina Speedway on Saturday in the series opener. Claiming his 21st series win, Smith finished 0.515 seconds ahead of Dusty Leonard.
Key notes: In a delayed opening of its season, NCRA ran Crate Racin’ USA-sanctioned Crate Late Models. … With just a handful of races in the virus-shortened season, NCRA announced it will not award championship points in 2020. ...
