Taking the checkers 0.615 of a second ahead of Bailes, Ferguson earned $5,000.

Key notes: Ferguson recorded his second triumph of 2020; his other checkered was also in Ultimate Southeast action at Cherokee on May 30. ... Zack Mitchell of Enoree, S.C., entered the event on a three-race series winning streak but could only manage a 10th-place finish after starting 14th. ...
