Max Blair rolls around Hidden Valley Speedway before his ULMS victory.
What won the race: Second-starting Max Blair of Centerville, Pa., muscled past polesitter Wyatt Scott early and held off David Scott to capture his 29th career Zimmer’s United Late Model Series victory at Hidden Valley Speedway on Saturday night. He earned a $5,000 payday in completing a sweep of the tour's doubleheader weekend.
Key notes: Blair stretched his ULMS points lead with his third series victory of the season. He also earned a $5,000 ULMS victory in Friday's Connor Bobik Memorial at Thunder Mountain Speedway in Knox Dale, Pa. ... Blair topped Chub Frank and Mike Norris to win Friday's race at Thunder Mountain. Neither driver entered Saturday's race at Hidden Valley. ... The tour completed its doubleheader weekend in its lone visit to Hidden Valley Speedway in Clearfield, Pa., this season.
