Matt Cosner led all the way for a victory at Selinsgrove.
What won the race: Polesitter Matt Cosner of Ridgeley, W.Va., dominated Saturday's 46-lap Super Late Model feature at Selinsgrove Speedway, winning the 46er to collect $5,046.
Quotable: “I could hit the cushion just right one lap on every restart, than honestly my arms would get tired,” Cosner said. “I was just as smooth as I could be. I moved down (to the middle of the track) for a couple of laps and it really wasn’t as good, so I just saved a little endurance in my for the last 10 (laps) and hit it as hard as I could."
Key notes: Max Blair finished second, 1.044 seconds behind Cosner. ... Colton Flinner ran second early and retired late to finish eighth. ... Jeff Rine was second by halfway slowed late in the to retire in ninth. ... Dylan Yoder was up to third early but two spins knocked him from contention. ... The most recent Super Late Model winner at Selinsgrove, Dan Stone, ran second early but retired after 14 laps and finished 15th. ... Saturday's feature, an event that celebrates the historic half-mile's 75th anniversary after opening in 1946, was slowed by at least four incidents, lasted nearly 46 minutes and saw only the top-six finishers complete 46 laps.
On the move: Andrew Yoder of Middleburg, Pa., started 18th and finished fourth.
Winner's sponsors: Cosner’s Rocket Chassis is powered by a Cornett Racing Engine and sponsored by R.H. Lapp Mechanical Contractors, Nelson Auto Sales, Global Truck Outfitters, Mighty Auto Parks, Phase 2 Wrap Materials and Royal Purple.
Points chase: Dan Stone leads track points after two events.
