What won the race: Joining his dad and brother on the list of racers who have won the Earl Hill Memorial, second-starting Jacob Hawkins of Fairmont, W.Va., earned a $5,000 Valvoline Iron-Man Northern Series victory in the 33rd annual event on Saturday at Tyler County Speedway. He took the checkers ahead of Ryan Montgomery and 10th-starting Shawn Jett.

Key notes: Hawkins led all the way. ... Tyler Riggs retaliated against Brandon Francis under caution, triggering a fracas that caused a lengthy delay when Francis punched through the driver's side opening of the Riggs machine after climbing from his spun car on the backstretch.
