What won the race: Taking the lead on the 11th lap when Rusty Schlenk tangled with a slower car, polesitter Cody Bauer of Farwell, Mich., raced to his richest career payday with a $10,000 victory Sunday at Merritt Speedway on the Allstar Performance Challenge Series. Bauer took the lead upon the demise of his front-row starter and led the rest of the 50-lapper, fighting off challenges from Eric Spangler and Dona Marcoullier.
Key notes: Bauer drove a Domination Race Car, the brand built by Schlenk, who led the feature over Bauer until retiring on lap 11. ...
