What won the race: Polesitter and series points leader Hayden Cardwell of Knoxville, Tenn., led flag-to-flag Sunday at Willard Speedway for a $3,000 triumph with the American All-Star Series presented by PPM, sweeping the tour's All-American Bash weekend.
Key notes: Cardwell also won Friday's tour event at Beckley (W.Va.) Motor Speedway while Saturday's event at Mountain Motorsports Park in Isom, Ky., was rained out. ... The $3,000-to-win feature was the highest paying event in the history of the quarter-mile oval. ... Fifth place finisher Shannon Thornsberry of Martin, Ky., won the 25-lap, $1,407-to-win Super Late Model feature.
